TCT players may compete at and earn points at any or all “AAAAA”, “AAA”, “A” TCT sanctioned events.  There will be a maximum of "2" tournaments per state per year to reduce travel fatigue and burnout.  A player who places in the top eight places at these events will receive points towards their rating.  All TCT Rated events will follow the standard 113 Blackbelt and 154 Underbelt divisions.  A player may accumulate points in as many different divisions as they qualify for based on age and rank.  Should a player change in rank or age and thus enter a new division during the course of the season, the player will be credited with 100% of their points into their new division.

The players’ ratings will be updated either immediately as each tournament is in progress (depending on the facility's high speed data connection availability) or immediately thereafter and be placed online for viewing and verification.
